I took my '39 Firestone Flying Ace for yesterday's Old Bikes Club Bluz Cruz. Small group, lots of fun even though we took a silly route for a while not conducive to cycling. 🤦‍♂️ Stopped for a couple folks to get refreshments & soak up some shade. Apparently we were in the wrong part of town...

Got back to "Roots" for about 3 hours. Easy to do when I have the place to myself.🤓

Was really interested in seeing the beehive on this frame & subscribed to the build. Since the Oriole, beehive & X53 are made by Murray it make sense they all look good together. Really digging this so far & what better place to get ideas for when I get around to mine than following a Kingfish...

I was able to work in some much needed therapy at the Broomfield Pump Track yesterday. Haven't ridden there in a while. Probably the most technical track in the area and lots of fun!🤓

An absolutely gorgeous day on Sunday for "Ape-ril" OBC Bluz Cruz! I was asked to lead the ride since my buddy Blu was in Kansas for a swap. I asked folks to bring their ape hanger/high rise handlebar bikes in celebration of "Ape-ril" & rode JC Piggins for a day of fun! About half way around...

I have a spare rim from my "Maurice" muscle bike build from a Mongoose Beast fat bike. Perhaps we can make it happen. Needs a wide "Boost" hub or whatever they're called.

Very cool! There are usually a couple of highland games in the Denver area but not this year. It is interesting history of the clans! My Mom & Brother visited Scotland last summer & the family estate. Brother wants us to move there.🙂

The egg crate rack on my Elgin made transporting a replacement hub/bearing assembly for my truck a breeze! With a full work schedule I didn't need more to do but had the truck fixed in a couple of hours. It makes getting caught up today feasible.🤓
