As found. Still a project but, it won't take much to be the talk of the revival bike community.
Ok enough of teasing you.
This is VETTED Shelby Lindy serial number.
Here's what you get.
Frame set with correct crossbar handle bars and stem. Correct crank assembly with pedals.
Correct 28" metal clad wood core rims. Includes the front hub. Even the front fork is straight w/truss rods and top retainer.
The hoops need lacing to the supplied front hub.
The correct rear hub would be either a 36 hole New Departure "C" or "A". Also needs lacing.
To complete... just needs seat post, seat, drop stand, stand clip and of course the Lindy badge.
Inside the headtube is red.
However the headtube badge area shows a blue ghosting.
Would look great with the Lindy hanging tank too.
Picture shows fenders but they didn't fit and were damaged so not included and no longer available.
Not included but, available is the correct teacup light and rear reflector. (see added pictures).
Also available is a cast iron Lindy Plane (see added pictures)
These are sold separately. And I love my Lindy plane. But, might consider letting it go with this deal if the price is negotiated To compensate the value of this rare item.
