Lovin those bars but i'm not sure about the bmx stem. I'm pretty sure you could work some magic on it. I like how this build is flowing along.

Back at it today. I mounted up some tires from my stash to see what works. i started with my last set of fat franks, which are always my favorites. I fought with the springer top bracket way to long. I don't know if it was the wrong one or if it had just been bent. It was the only one i could...

Nice parts pile. I've never built a step through but may put one together later this summer. I like the direction you are going here.

Your ratina work continues to impress me. An inspiration to all. Killer job on that tank.

Good to see you in the mix. This should be a good one with that start. I also chose to do my rat in bare steel. I like the raw attitude it gives off.

Still paint under the tube in the crevices. I may just put a brass brass on the drill and clean it up. Probably won't see it any way with a fender on it.

I'm going to pull this springer apart to finish stripping the paint. Any tips or tricks before I open up a new can of worms. Thanks.

All the paint has been removed from the frame and tank. A little bit more and the forks will be complete. If I use a chainguard I will need to do it also. Stripping season is over for me.

Three layers of the most armor proof paint i've ever stripped. Could have sent it to the blaster but they come out to clean and shiny for my likes. I'll give them a little OA bath which will take out the shine and give it a little more aged look. A couple light coats of dead flat clear and ready...

Back from second page slacker status. To many 12 hr shifts in a row. I finally got the rest of the paint to give up on the frame. I can't find good aircraft stripper i have used in the past. So slow it is. On a positive note all i have left is the tank, front forks, and a chainguard if i use...
