Powder coat came out to be about a 99% match, couldn’t ask for any better. The only fitment issue i had was needing longer screws at the fork eyelets because i also had to go through the fender braces, glad i had longer screws with the right thread on hand. Carried an 18pk home yesterday with no issues, here’s to more beer trucking!

2011 Super Deluxe in the rare root beer color, found last month, bike is near new, ridden very little, all I did was add a Brooks B66, Brooks grips and dice....super nice riding aluminum frame.

That's great! It's a shame that Electra no longer makes the Super Deluxe. I found one a while back on CL but it was taken. I had a blue one and my ex had a ladies rootbeer and I sold them as a set a few years back to a guy who works in the building next to me. Miss them both but at the time I had WAY too much hardware haha
You can still buy them at official Electra store here in Poland. I have just sold mine to a friend too. Was my second one. I agree that this bike is one you fall in love with after you first try to ride it! But still it is a bit too short for me so i have switched to Ghostrider - the only stock cruiser frame that is tall enough for me without modification i have seen so far
And also very comfortable to ride!Here is a pic from 2015, when i bought my second Super Deluxe, next to my first one. Got it from an old guy who switched to electric bike for just 100 euro in perfect condition! I am very thankful to him, since that bike have brought me a lot of joy and good memories. Both are ridden by my friends now, one in Amsterdam, other one in Poznan.
I do not know exactly, but it is about 197cm, or bit less then 6.5 feet.
I had a friend cut some new boards out of birch ply. The Gamoh boards were unfinished cedar that just clashed with the other boards on the bike. I put one coat of minwax penetrating natural stain on just to warm them up a bit and make the grain pop and then a couple coats of rattle can gloss enamel. Stick a fork in it this one is DONE.

Planning on a San Diego trip next month and I'm shopping for a GOOD bike lock to lock up three Electras at once....
Been thiking or picking one of these up someday, I'd be much more comfy on a PHX barhopping cruise on one of these than on one of my ridiculously expensive bikes that no one but thieves really care about haha. Nice, simple, quality bike.

So, i did something....a few nights ago i was cruising CL and came across a Zarape seat. I messaged the guy, we exchanged numbers, got to talking and horse trading, and last night i threw the Lakester in the car and drive 2.5 hours to meet him halfway to pick up a unicorn I’ve always wanted. A minty fresh, unridden Flying Sue, straight across trade.
Still had the plastic on the emblems. I’m a happy boy. Oh and i got the Zarape seat too

Nice! I'm really wanting that new 2018 Relic 3i... 800 dollars is a bit insane though. Seems after Trek bought them their prices skyrocketed. The Cruiser 1 used to be $199, now they're $269. On the upswing they at least come with Retrorunners instead of those terrible knobbies.
