I'm back in after missing last year. Thinking about using a 53 cwc I picked cheap. Still on the hunt for a straightbar tank. I have a hodge podge of parts and kinda of a plan. Looking forward to it.

these are curved braces.

The ones on your free junk post are straight.

they come off the axle and curve upward to the fender instead of straight across.

I have the same stem but the bare metal has been polished. Been looking for a way to patina this. I may have to give this a try.

I'm going with the along with the crowd on that color matched tank. Fits the space pretty well from my view.
