So yesterday I laced up a rear wheel for this chopper. And I also took the forks off the cruiser to have a look at them! The only thing I think may have happened is the mudguard moving and touching the tire

Wow... That's scary from a fender jamming. +1 you did not get hurt worse... Glad your able shake it off.
The chopper is great, I both envy and fear the patience you guys have to lace wheels...

Those aren't cracks are they?

The repops may not be anywhere near the quality of the real thing.
 
Chopper is looking good. I picked up my first RSW recently.
That Columbia fork got bent pretty badly. I've never seen one bent that far back before.
