Got this for a good price and have been tinkering with it a bit. The 3" wide tires are rubbing the fender a bit, so I have been making adjustments. Don't really want to remove them. The next stage is installing a tripple tree front fork and disc brake setup. All I need is a new stem. The front wheel is off of a huffy mtb i got just for this

I picked up one of those on sale. It rode well after I greased and adjusted all the bearings. I was going to try some 3" tires, but I sold it to work on another bike.

Liking the classic ‘red/black/white’ theme, those 3” tires look great.
Adding a triple tree with disc will definitely give it even more attitude.

I do have one question though, the seat seems to be really far forward on the post, is there something limiting it’s position?

If it’s a ‘reach’ thing, then wouldn’t it be better to have the seat further back and lower?

Again, just asking, not criticizing

I think it's the bracket on the seat, it can be rotated forward to put the seat a couple inches back.

It is an aftermarket seat. I'll check on the bracket tonight. Never really paid attention to it. Thanks

I picked up one today.

I changed the cog, added a tooth for a easier cruising gear.
As usual, any walmart bike needs a complete going through, adding lube and adjusting every last bearing. I picked through all three they had of these to get true wheels.
Then, with just a different pair of tires, it was good to go.

Peeled off : all stickers.
Took spin for ice cream.
Wheels very true;
Had to level tires.
Put my sticker on rear fender ...now in line: for repair stand. Git to lube & align..
