Ladies skipper springer Hawthorne (what is it)

It was on craigs a few months ago then disappeared. Came back up yesterday and I sorta had to have it. LOVE the light and springer.

Ended up riding it home since it would fit in my car. Sketchiest ride ever! The rear hub cones (model d) are so loose i thought the rear wheel was gonna fall off. And the cranks/bb was just flopping around, but I made it.

So what is it? I'll have to get the serial later, but I don't think there's a hawthorne database is there?


Funny story, the guy selling this bike had another bike for sale. Someone was already at the place looking at the other bike when I got there. She test rode the other one but said it was too heavy. I mentioned I was selling a bike (1950's guys rollfast). I rode the hawthorne home and she met be at my house in 20 minutes. She bought the rollfast =).

also, this is as bought (tho it's the sellers photos). Notice how clean the skiptooth wheels/rims are. I think this might actually be an easy fixer upper.
