Had to heat up the seatpost to get it out...Was broken before I got it

I'd just clean it and clear it. Or maybe just shoot some dark red primer on that spot then clear it.

I'd wire brush the burnt areas and clean it then clear it with what ever clear ya like. I prefer satin polyurethane. Just a thought
