A few more of the 1937 Hawthorne. Hard to capture in the photos, but the paint has turned from Indian Red to a deeply marbled brownish red:

Really nice!

Luke.

Finished this Snyder yesterday. Got the bare frame from a friend, put together from orphan parts around the shop. Fenders are stainless, nos. Headbadge screws broken off, so I put some 3m tape on a badge I made and slapped it on.

Nice bikes! Did you recover the seats on them? What can you tell us about that process....I am about to tackle one myself. Thanks

Thanks! Yes I've recovered the seats. I use closed cell foam for the padding in different thicknesses depending on the look I want, hand/custom dyed saddle leather.

Hey what was the patina solution stuff you used on this? You know where I could pick some up? I've been looking around online but cant seem to find much.

haha yeah I pretty much all my stuff outside already. I wonder if I could pick this stuff up locally. Thanks for all the info

Yeah that was the one I was looking at. Seems easy enough. I found a local place that looks like they carry this kind of stuff. I'm going to go check them out tomorrow
