Need some help with fenders

looking for fenders for my 1952 black phantom 26" build want to paint them, this is the bike

Front forks do not have a spot to attach the tab that I see on fenders on ebay am I missing something?

it does take regular phantom fenders,the fender for this style fork bolts to the bottom of the fork

yeh that is the kind I need the ones that bolt to the bottom but the back is regular, looking for a source on line.

Yes, i believe the erudite term for this is a "daruma bolt"... most fenders can run either the straight bolt or an L-bracket set-up. Cheap/easy/new/available would be the Wald #962GB-26; this is the gloss black version, which will be easier to paint thn the standard chrome plated #962. I'm pretty sure that 1952 phantom will be a balloon-tired bike, but if it's a middleweight, check out the Wald #952-26
