    Sure! I used M4 washers under the nipples. As long as you don't bomb down stairs it should work well. (I had already posted this photo on this thread but it is so ancient that many pics have disappeared)

    Man, I haven't logged in ages! Today I got this build moving again, after being stuck for years. I cut the arch off my fork for a "dirt track" look. Cheers!

    Something of the sort. It may get the job done and there is less risk of damaging your paint. Try it first, nothing to loose. Hugo

    A friend of mine once built a mountain bike frame out of stainless steel tubes and a arc welder ("stick" welder) back in the day. You can do it, it just takes a bit more skill. Hugo
