dang thats purdy. well if you go with a slick that is still correct for a 5 spd deluxe in 75. i think...... very very nice

Yeah, there's show chrome and regular chrome. I think yours is show cause that looks very, very nice. Man I wish it wasn't so expensive cause I have chrome parts galore that need chroming

yea that chrome looks a tad thick but when it looks that good who gives a darn. where is the update come on!!!!!! :mrgreen: where is the seat?

$77 total in the real wheel restoration.

$30 for Sting Ray Slik
$40 for NOS S2 rim
$7 for correct Schwinn 5 speed freewheel.

I knew buying a complete wheel to replace mine wasn't an option when I saw prices like $200-$300! I just waited for deals on parts I needed and cleaned up the ones that I had! 8)
