Say what???? You'd be surprised. He's a killer performer too. I saw him with Stevie Ray Vaughan, BB King, and Dr John and the only person that out performed him was Stevie Ray.

My fav things in Jake's room: Abacab (great album) and Grapefruit Shandy ( although I prefer the ginger shandy but I haven't seen it in like 2-3 years... please bring back ), and Falstaff, you're right, SRV could upstage everyone. I saw him on his last tour; I was blown away by the Stray Cats, who opened, and then SRV made them some-what forgettable.

I've seen Stray Cats also. I never got the pleasure to see SRV. I've seen concert footage though. He was great.
You would love to go thru my vinyl. It's gonna be a task transporting it to the new house.

I saw the Stray Cats back in the 80s but the SRV concert was better. Opened with a guitar roadie playing some flamenco, then Jimmie Vaughan's Fabulous Thunderbirds played, then Stevie Ray and Double Trouble, then the finalé was Jimmie and Stevie playing the same double necked guitar together... awesome!

Thanks B. Yeah they're packed up but all I have to do is take some out. Plus my basement is trashed with all my stuff. Kids a the yearly block party will get some.
I plan on selling some to the suburbanites once I move. LoL Open my garage as a custom bike shop/ music studio.

Yeah, my kids used to love to bang on my drums when they were little. Now they play guitar and ukulele.

Reminded me of this picture of one of my best friends kids playing with my kit. They're about the same age as your grandson.

Their dad is a fantastic sax player and also makes hand made mouthpieces.

That's me on the left helping work the booth at the NAMM show last January.
