i have been building this bike for a year. Finally got to reveal it at Bikes at the Ballfield in Augusta KS yesterday.

Since Peewee’s Big Adventure came out in 85 I always wanted to have a bike like it. But finding the parts and the time wasn’t right.

At my show last year I was given a late 40s 20” Schwinn DX frame and thought “ Awesome, I’ll build a cool little pig bike”

A short time after I won a package from Smoopys Vintage Bikes. In the package was a sticker that looked like the Chuck’s Bike o Rama logo. And the light turned on. I had to build a 20” X1.

So because of Brad giving me the frame and Andy sending that sticker pack I blame them for the awesome time I’ve had building the bike.

Here is the finished product. But I will show pics from the beginning in posts to follow for anyone interested in seeing how it came together.

Big thanks to Turbofrank, BrownieICT, rfeagleye, Jason and Andy(local fabricators, and now bicycle enthusiasts), Brad, Smoopys, and my wife for letting it live in the house for the last year.

Anyway, on with the pics.

Gutted an old flashlight. A bit of time with the dremel and some parts from Turbofrank and it getting somewhere.

Finished Light. (I must have broke those fins off by accident at least 6 times before the reveal)

Exhibit C. Smaller scale I built of the horn Peewee picks up at Chucks from Dottie.

A few more correct parts picked up from a friend.

Almost there. Still have to make rear fin and detail the chainguard.

I saw this on the web. Maybe it’s a sign. :nerd:

Also found this. Says it comes in BIG and PEE WEE. Dang, now I gotta get the big one.

I had the most fun building this bike. It was very hard to keep it a secret all year. (Had to tell a couple folks who helped me find/build Parts) Thanks for looking.

Good job! Probably the world's only 20" version of this iconic bike.

I saw the video on FB yesterday and wondered why it looked small. I just assumed that you were really tall!:21:

I’ve seen several of the movie prop bikes, the movie of course and the posters. I think you pretty nailed it. Very impressive better get some steel chain though and a good look. I’d hate for you to have to go looking for it.
I think you might have gotten the Mickey Mouse bell from me, now I know why you wanted it.
Very cool build!!!

Thank you.
All of my bikes stay pretty well locked down.
I can’t remember if I got that bell from you or not. I must have bought 4 or 5 before I got the exact one I needed.

Hard to tell it's 20 inch unless it's next to something. You nailed the Pee Wee look 100%...cool build!

It’s a bit of both. Being 6’2” on a 20” bike will either make the bike look smaller or the rider bigger.
Either way it’s a blast to ride around yelling and singing through the tiger siren.
