I have a small pile of things i will never use so i will need a small spot 8) also being new to this i dont know how to price some of it :?: I dont want to bring it home with me so what would you put on say an old hawthorne headlight if i know what to price that i can probably figure from that what to put on the other stuff

ndaway... dont worry, we will have the room for you.

I know if you spill the beans and show us your parts.... you wont have anything to sell at the swap meet :D

price on the light, hmmm ? I would say keep en eye out for other sales to see what similar stuff sells for and go from there. No matter what its priced at, someone is sure to make an offer if they really want it.

I try to price the stuff I dont want to haul home, pretty low. I try to make sure the stuff finds a new home. Sometimes it helps to give the Homies a good deal, that way we can trade back and forth and try to help each other out. Good bicycle Karma!

Yeah I'd encourage people to hang on to stuff for the swapmeet and not be tempted to sell prior to. Obviously the more stuff for sale at the swap the more successful it will be and increase the likelihood of it continuing.

Put me down for a booth! Don't know if I will have anything to sell or not, but it's worth it to me just to be able to attend & for the priviledge of buying!!!

I've got a few goodies saved up for our swap. Trades are welcome.
I had a great time last year and I'm sure this one will be better.
The free pile was a success last time, so it may return again!

You know.... that sounds like a great idea!

Im sure I can find an area to dedicate to a "community pile" of freebies.

my only issue would be what happens to all the stuff that is left over at the end of the day?

It was just mine. Out in front of my booth. I was scared for a bit because people kept adding to it!
Then all of a sudden some dude can along and took it all. He said he was an artist and one of his mediums was old bike junk. If you were at The Art of The Bicycle show then you saw some of his work.
Free stuff is cool and all, but if no one wants it you got to drag it home.

Just a FYI... Harry the pinstriper will be on site, so if you need ANYTHING pinstriped, Harry is they guy!!!

Ive gotta say, I have seen a LOT of different pinstripers and their work, but this Harry kid... One of the best by far! I dont know how he does it, but all of his designs are symmetrical, both sides match. A lot of guys CANT do this, you will be able to spot differences from one side to another.

Very talented dude, and we are lucky to get him. 8)
