Love those Murray double top tube frames (a Flightliner by any other name, etc). Pointy dropouts rock! It's also interesting to see that Western Auto was buying bikes from just about everybody in the 50s; I just picked up a '59 (or thereabout) "Silver Flyer", and it's a CWC bike.

Originally this bike would have a half/peanut tank with dual headlights that extend beyond the frame. Would of said "Golden Flyer", but CWC/Western Flyer only made this model for one year commemorating the new middleweight design for their 50th anniversary. Parts are hard to find, especially in good or fair condition. I agree that the double tubed framed bikes look sharp! The front end with the springer makes the front end of this bike feel like a tank, lol
