The evolution continues with this old tank from a girl's bike I found yesterday. A forum member said it's probably JC Higgins. Trying to decide whether to paint the tank or leave it as is

So far: 1988 Schwinn frame and wheels, 1950 Columbia rear rack, 1950's Schwinn feather chainguard, 1957 JC Higgins girls tank, Troxtel leather seat, 1940's EA Labs headlight, 1975 Wald stem, SG Half Moon handlebars with rubber Schwinn grips
