anyone know what this is?
would it be worth buying for $50?

I think it look great. I have always wanted a tank light like that. $50 seems fair for such a clean lookin bike.

Don't know brand though, maybe an off brand like Sears.

Rollfast!!

I believe that is a Rollfast or a Firestone bike. Either way probably made by Murray. And YES, Definitely worth the $50 especially with the tank and the lens is a definite plus.

The Chainring...from the small photo...looks like a Rollfast.
I'd pay $50.00 in a second for that bike!

looks a lot like a hawthorne. my build off bike started as one and has the same chain guard and sprocket. different tank though but similar.

wow that is amazing october check out my build off bike. i know that it started out as a wards hawthorn and the frame, chain guard, and sprocket are identical to your rollfast. guess it was one of those parts sharing deals between manufactures back in the day. awsome score i would almost be tempted to keep that one original.
