I've let it set awhile but now I've ordered two Duro tires for this Huffy Impalla and I plan to install them and replace or repack all the bearings during the next few days. I will put on a new chain too. Possibly a new stem and bars, not sure.

I have another pair of the peaked fenders and I plan to use them to build a nice bike with shiny paint and chrome later, probably dark green and cream, with painted and pinstriped rims.

I got the tires on , the front wheel bearings done, and rebuilt the coaster brake hub, ( my first Huffy hub). The rear tire rubs a couple of the fasteners that hold the rear fender on so I am going to replace the fasteners with flat head screws and put them in from inside with an acorn nut on the outside. Now to deal with the rest of the bearings.

I found what appears to be a 1958 date on the hub and some hub parts.
I have a carrier that I think will fit on the back of our '52 Studebaker, if so I might haul the Huffy to the next cruise-in.
