Brake Lever Question

I bought these kinda cool

looking brake levers online. After I received them I found they are motorcycle or at least minibike levers and the openings for the barrels on the cable ends are too big for regular bicycle brake cable. Can I shim the barrel ends (maybe wrap in Gorilla tape?) and be safe, or should I just get different brake levers?

You can shim them. I think clunkers.net goes over it.
I would also see if you could get a regular bike lever barrel adjuster to thread in. Theres a few different thread sizes. Maybe an easier route
