I was thinking no number plate, but looking at my top tube, brushed metal makes sense.

Anyone do this?

I will likely use the Lexan version as the basis for the steel plate. This may take awhile to get to, as I think I want to have a body shoppe build this, have a pin striper put the numbers on, then have it cleared. I really thought about the design, and to have it executed properly, someone above my pay grade needs to do this to make it look right. I may even have it welded onto the bars; I don’t know. Part of me almost wants to make it look like it was a found piece that was adapted.

I will have pix of the Lexan plate up in a little while. It’s too early to drill right now.
 
I wonder if I could find something shaped kind of like this in the size for my handlebars? Somehow, that is the inspiration. Edit: I added another.
