Ok! Chicago/Chicagoland RatRodders lets do a monthly ride!
I been wanting to start some kind of monthly ride for Chicago area so lets
Get this started
Starting in March on the 3rd Thursday of the month ( Or can more suburban RatRodders come on a Sunday? opinion please!) At 7pm
Lets meet At the Handlebar

Why The Handlebar?
• Great food and bar
• Bike friendly
• Close to the highway for those driving parking can be a issue
But not imposable (bring lots of quarters or credit card :roll: )

• In the heart of Bucktown Wickerpark area
• Close to lots of other bars

Are you in?
Please come this would be a great thing to have going strong by the summer and hang out with other RRB members and get some great rides and beer drinking in. :mrgreen:

Was thinking of doing that in the burbs on wed nites in Geneva or Wheaton but Chicago sounds like fun I'd try it. count me in.

Time moves so fast let’s do this on Thursday March 18th at 7pm at the Handlebar
If the whether is nice maybe even get a ride in
I did some “research” the other day at the Handlebar and the food is great, and they have a great beer selection
It would be great to meet some fellow ratrodders face to face

It’s official we had the First Chicago monthly ride!
Had a turn out of Three Rat Rodders
ZIH (Brian), XC204 (Gary) and myself
Did more beer drinking :roll: then riding
I took a few pics
Next month we will do Sunday April 18th at 7pm so its easier for guys to come in to town
Lets meet at the Handlebar again.And also get a ride in As the weather gets better we can do some lakefront rides
It was great to meet Rat Rodders face to face and talk bikes!

rides are always fun .the more people you get the more exciting it is. in sacramento sometimes we get so meny people that we cant fit in the bike lane so we take up a whole driving lane. :lol: we stop here and there but we keep things moving after everyones had a drink or snack .i would come out to support your ride but i live way to far away.

Ride update! For Saturday April 17th

Ok I have received feedback that a Saturday ride would be better for people to attend
So for April let’s switch the ride to Saturday April 17th

• SATURDAY APRIL 17TH
• 7PM
• MEET A CHICAGO’S WIKER PARK ( the actual park)
• Wicker Park
1425 N. Damen Ave.
Chicago, IL 60622
• MEET ON THE SOUTH WEST CORNER OF THE PARK CORNER OF SCHILLER AND DAMEN
• THEN WE WILL RIDE TO THE HANDELBAR http://handlebarchicago.com/ 2311 W. NORTH AVE
• HOPE THIS WORKS OUT BETTER FOR PEOPLE EVERYONE IS WELCOME! CITY, SUBURBS, N.W. INDIANA, WISCONSIN,Etc.
PLEASE RESPONED TO THIS POST SO WE CAN ALL SEE WHO AND HOW MANY CAN MAKE THE RIDE

Where would you say the best place to park near Wicker? At a meter on the street? Guess I should bring alot of quarters?
