They say man is subject to stray when he has options. I had been watching this one for a couple weeks, I had no space for it, but after delivering the red rider last night and selling the Greenline today, for $60, I picked up a nice Dyno - glide deluxe w/moto glide forks. Gonna have to pick this or the Electra... hmmm mmmmaybe.

Found a little bit of o.g. under the paint on the chainguard. what would you do with this one? keep as is and clean up? restore it to ? not sure if it came this way from Dyno originally (the forks) or would you strip it down and get nice with it?

O.G. is actually the abbreviation of Original Gangster as popularized by the gangs of my area in the 90's and Ice T's 4th studio album
O.G. Original Gangster. It's taken to mean someone who has been around the block for a while. It's usually the older members of the gang and said as a term of respect that somebody is "O.G."

In this setting however, I bastardized the term to mean there were underlying original Dyno graphics which I uncovered beneath some layers of black over coating on the chain guard. Which by the way, is the moist ornate I've worked on.

I am right with you on keeping the Dyno for the sake of scarcity, Perhaps I get to keep both! It's only me telling me I have to choose anyhow.

this is the lettering that was under it all. Lots of rubbing off the added coatings and then I masked off the letters and gave a nice plastidip covering which can be pulled right off n a pinch.

I really like my real Dyno Deuce, which has the same front end in chrome, but it is a bit of a rough ride. The lines of the frame beg for a curvy springer, donchathink?
The heavy leg front could maybe be the basis for a Monark (HD) style springer, but would look better on more of a straightbar frame IMHO.

I recently picked up a Micargi Stretch Puma real cheap brand new on Craigs List. Now that I have compared it to an original Dyno Roadster I can see what I have been hearing all along - the Dyno is a much superior bicycle. It has quality components and the frame is built extremely well. I suggest hanging on to all original Dynos. For fun I also have one of the 4 speed purple motoglides - sharp looking bike and rides well. Have fun with your Dyno!

Ive always liked the dyno cruisers from the first time I saw one. I remember this shop that pretty much had the whole line. they are cool.

I was going to buy a new Micargi... but I found a super clean original Dyno Roadster, for kind of a lot of money ($400 plus a 600 mile round trip to get it) and bought it. I'm glad you posted this, it makes me feel better about what I did!

I loved my Dyno Deuce. It was my daily rider for many years until my daughter borrowed it last year and left it locked up outside a bar overnight, the rest as they say is history...along with my bike.

This one looks like an older model, with the O.G. face on the seat tube, and no metal head badge (O.G.'s don't need no stinking badges). Looks like an owner got tired of cleaning the chrome - with quick drying black paint. A deluxe would also have come with full fenders, so maybe this one had some dealer ups & extras.
