electra cruiser 1 fork

i want to buy a new fork. are they 1" or 1 1/8? can i just measure the stem to tell?

Every Electra cruiser I've owned were 1". If the stem is stamped 22.2 it is a 1" fork.

What bike do you have and I'll tell you. There have both

I thought it was 1". The stem measure around .9" I measured the stem on my sparker, wife's Hawaii coaster, and an older coaster3. They were all the same. 22.2 sounds really close to the .9" I came up with.
The bike is the basic 26" steel cruiser. I forget if they just call it the cruiser, or cruiser 1.
I want to order the monark style springer for it.

My Jester came with the factory springer and its a 1", and it rides very nice; I like the way it takes the jar out of tar strips & divots I dont see.
