Fastback-sket?

Weekend finds. Small basket (9.5x14x4.5) Not sure what the basket is from, it has leather straps and a weird hinge mount. Fastback guard is really nice, no dents/dings, and the chrome isn’t half bad.

Looks like a typical universal handle bar basket, I don't have a clue about that center mount though.

Here is a better pic of the basket hinge. It has a leather strap as well, no stamp anywhere to help identify.

I’ll put it in the trade section tomorrow but willing to trade the fastback guard for a troxel crash guard men’s seat. Could use a couple if anyone wants to work something out. Getting rid of stuff

Maybe it's not a bike basket, but a basket from a refrigerator or something that was modified to use on a bike.
