So Spring is just around the corner and I just started building up my cruiser. I still have a few more parts to pick up, though my wheels are on the way  I'm still not sure what to do about the fork. Either, I'll paint it the same color as the frame (plum) or I'll polish it to a mirror finish. Does anyone have any experience with polishing straight up Steel and sealing it? Anyway, check out my soon to be beauty!

More photos will be coming real soon

The end is nigh!... My cruiser build, that is :grin:she's all painted and mostly assembled, just waiting on a couple of small parts so I can put her all together.

Luckily there is a drying room in my building, that no one uses, so I had plenty of space to paint during my COVID-19 vacation.

Trying out Spray.Bike to paint the frame and fork. Hoping for a nice result.

So far, so good.

Color came out pretty nice, but the clear finish is not that great, but it still looks pretty rad for a "at-home" job.

And the fork! More to come once my last parts come in (hopefully tomorrow)

I was looking into trying this paint. How is your experience about it? Any details? Looks nice on your bike, is the application really as easy as they promote? :)

Yeah, so the paint is EXTREMELY easy to use and apply and the turn out is pretty decent, but...the paint in the can is a liquid and immediately turns into a powder. The problem with that is that if you hang your bike to paint it, the powder falls below and builds up. I have a few rough patches due to this, but all in all, it's a nice turn out. The clear coat on the other hand, is not that great and really doesn't protect the bike all that much. It's also kind of "sticky", even though I left it to cure for about a week. My advice, use the color, but find a different clear coat.
