My 1945 Elgin started life as a girls bike.... until I got my hands on it ....
plus 2 girls donor bikes too :crazy:

A 1970 Phillips 1 speed. The notable difference from all the other English bikes is the curve in the down tubes.

That's true,very hard to find a women with curves in England or Europe so to speak....:grin:
 
This one started out as the front half of a trike. It worked out well as a standard girls bike, but I loved the lugged frame and how it looked when it was flipped. It may sound like the easiest way to gender bend a frame... "Just flip it over." In order to get the "new" top bar level it was going to take a boatload of work. Perfect for a one-off unique Build Off entry.
