@kingfish254 I am leaning towards the second font as well. I searched for a while for a font that Schwinn used. I couldn’t find it and this was close. Since it’s not a Schwinn, I think it fits well.

@OddJob that name is an Ed Roth invention. He is definitely an influence to me in what I like and collect. Use it! If you want some build name inspiration, cool Topps Weird Wheels cards. Some great ones!

Just primed over that Ratina that everyone likes. I wouldn’t feel like I finished the project if I didn’t paint it. The chain guard will be purple to match the seat cover. The frame will be painted, starting with Silver Metallic from Rustoleum as a base. Another metallic base purple may go over the top of the silver or it may stay silver. I don’t want too much purple.

This is quite a small frame, but I love the tube work and the devil tails. I cut out the fender supports to stuff a 26 inch wheel and tire set it’s going to be a 3 speed, which means that I currently have no brakes. I have a solution though. Besides using my feet.

I may cook hot dogs on this later.

Tight fit. I bought these Cheng Shin Bell tires from Walmart a few years ago and and recently mounted them to some junk rims. Probably the only tires I would be able to find to fit this frame without being super skinny. Time to grind tabs off from the fender supports.

I had this auto antenna laying around and thought it would make a great Rat tail. It disassembled easy and is adjustable. I have a couple of spots where I could place it on the bike.

Anywhere there is a hole, I like to cover them. These screw in spikes are rather inexpensive, if you have a Hot Topic around. I’ll pop a couple in the ends of the grips when I finish off the bike.
