The heat wave finally got up north, it's 57F and partly sunny. My wife and I went for a hike on the North Country Trail today. I finished my 100 miles on it so now I can get the 100 mile National Park Centennial North Country Trail Hiking Patch. She already got hers in June. You have to hike 100 miles on it in 2016 to get one. At the start of the hike along the road at the Trail access. Right a the start of the hike Cut over Jack Pine. They were everywhere and I ate handfuls of them many times. Here I am at the end; 100.2 miles total since June. I don't like to hike anymore as it gets me worn out and sore.
