    Thanks Luke I have gotten some more work done on the bike just a few things left to do like run brake cable replace some of the bolts with new and couple other things. 20181227_172339.jpg

    If not a recover seat job, find a complimentary color , or a close match, in an acrylic paint and rub it on. Soft cloth works well. Once it's on, you can spray with a clear to make it shine a little, and preserve it. That's what I did with my 77 Sunset build. The vinyl I used was tan colored to start with...

    I did recover it it was the only green I found at the fabric store was originally wanting a sparkly green but couldn't find any. Maybe should have just ordered one from the bay but didn't want the white piping. I did find some white at wally world.

    20190123_175416.jpg Finally had time and weather cooperation to get the bike finished took oddjob advice and painted the seat and clover to match the seat. Got the grips, brake,and headlight done also just need to get pics for the finished section . 20190123_175733.jpg

    I finished last weekend just needed time to get pics and then decide which to use but got him done.

    Thanks guys really enjoyed this build and took it out for a ride and it rides so smooth just not a real good sharp turning partly because of the fork hitting the tank.
