wow - those came out great, hard to believe they're the same fenders.
Agree with Luike, a little patina will blend right in and have the look.
( when I first got into bikes I wanted everything perfect, so repainted some I never should have,tore some down that never got done,etc.. lately I've been more and more into the survivor look, buzzword seems to be ' vintage clean' as of late. ). Watching this one for progress, lot of nice rides in the buildoff this year.
 
I got the last of the little parts clean and put the grips, seat, donor sissy bar, kickstand, and shifter on this morning. I need to think about the cable routing and put the chainguard on still but it's almost done. With the seat in the position it's in I'm touching the ground on my tip toes! Good thing I'm only 5'7"ish!
