I'm scrubbing what I built last year.
I really liked the dip paintjob but the red washed out and I can't hang with the pink bike. I've got forks on the way and I'll be changing a lot of this bike. Frame, wheels and probably the handlebars are staying everything else is gone baby gone. No welding or cutting (I don't think) but this isn't going to be a restoration either.
It's a Coast to Coast Duster (built by Ross, Apollo clone)

Bye Bye Pinky...

Cool! I Love that bike , but i have to agree that paint is starting to look like grandmother wallpaper ;)

love those bars
Thanks man. They're a little bigger than the orginal butterflys I had as a kid. I fabbed them up from two sets of apes and I like them too.

Lookin' like a Donk!
Haha. Yep, I hung the axle in the bottom holes of the sissy bar, so it's higher than it would be but I wanted to get an idea of what it would look like. I believe I'm going to fab up some stretched out dropouts to weld in behind the existing dropouts. Now to find a wheel. I have another 3 speed hub, but no extra mtb rims. Ran out of stripper too. So I'm basically just seein' what looks like what... But I do like the rat trap fork on there!

Frame needs a quart of Bondo anyway.
I love the name Interstellar Overdrive...
but Mousetrap keeps popping into my head.

sent from a phonebooth...

I like it but you know I toasted my chain line.
The chain went under that lower frame rail...
now the rail is right in my chain line.
I'm pretty sure I have room to dish my chain ring.
A lot. I'm also probably lacing a three speed in.
So I'm hoping things will work out.

Change it to cassette/derailleur, problem solved and you can run up to 7 speeds and make a cool shifter/grip shift modification...
