Really happy with his project... Think we will work well together also in future.
Fork and frame were red with cream, I managed to get some indication of where they wee as I stripped.
Wasn't sure how I'll finish, was consider paint, but the stays are clean enough I think I'll treat it them clear and call it done.
U chemical stripped it and ran a bristle over it o see how it may look, I'll be graining it with 800

As usual any info appreciated.

Going bare an brushed..

"Fu master"? :praise:

As to what it is? Is it a CWC? If those are the forks, yes. I've been looking for that frame, it's a puzzle.
Here's a 40 CWC:

I can't find this frame with a shock master springer though.

From right here, look like your darts?

Yes to the darts, they seemed to be only cream outlines on red. Rear wheel matches as dose fork. Front was replaced w plated hoop.
Frame wheel and fork have been through 3 -4 paintings.. front for at least 2

@Ratrod Canuck called it a bent tank frame. It has very straight stays. I'm sure the frame forks and rear are original and together.
Here is he rear hoop. I had mistakenly looked at the front and assumed both were plated.

Is full hub stamping.
I'm going try salvage color on the rear hoop
Rest running bare

The darts may be a bit longer that shown.. on way to work now I'll measure for reference later.
These look similar

I assumed I had wrong fender straps but looks like straight are appropriate on this cwc... Note how long dart is on top bike this is more in line with length I found.

Dart outlines I could read

Found these additional stampings on bb to down tube joint. W E(/L) rest unclear.

Possible 1 then what seems read as a 4
Also the bb has indentation around whole thing on non drive side as seen above.
Almost there for clear.

I think it'll add to the peppered chrome....
Yummmmyyyy

Defiantly getting some graphics... After wrestling the head cups in ever so gently and stepping back to admire, truss acorn spun into top tube...
Yay candy jobs...
Any way.

Really happy with finish vs neglected chrome... Is good. Happy camper..

Had to break out my mini crescent cause vice here gave up.. wasn't going to shop at 1am..
Fought for almost hour and half seating them..

Not really fun trying hold a 24" crescent an inch from freash paint...
But got it seated nicely. 3/4 all tread. I didn't have 1" long enough, but boy am I ordering some today.
Good night.
I'll try finish repair seat pans tomorrow...
Not bad shape just twisted and wonky from years of use. It's not correct, so the cage was tweaked, need cut rivets repair then reset rivets... Those are pains in rear, cutting to llengthnot excited need do 6 on seat frame.
Other than that quick hammer dolly blast and dust.
I may just make frame guards w same seat material...
That Louie Vuitton is sounding better and better.

Putting down paint for today... I get to go shave... That's what happens when pay bikes and procrastinate on deadlines...
Last night cap popped loose dripped paint on sculpture i was shooting.. got to shop at 4:30 to touch up... And also do paint split on flyer...
Grabbed new can of paint go to shake, and I become a walking Jackson Pollock....
Got sculpture done... Not touching paint for few days..
Going home to lick my wounds and make myself look like a juvenile...
Bye-bye goat....

So I'm not moding any parts that came with it. I'll run the rear red rim as mutch as can save.... Front was changed to a plated at some point.. as for stem and bars, I have no idea if correct, so I'll save em for the next one to choose... This is the parts I'll use to build some bars, thought I was good but had to grab English parts.... So I need cut slug and zap... I'll prolly make them a one piece so can make fancy looking easier.
The seat pan is ridiculous, Its so wonky I had to build dies from old dollies for my anvil... I can hide it in foam but will bug me.
Those are weekend goals..
Work to do at shop and at studio..
Can play bikes more next week.

been really busy organiinband decorating my studio so landlord is cool with my bike issues..
Anyway, came across these, shaved them down to bungs for the bars I split (wish had planned would have left more center for easier bung fit...)
Have an other set for the stem I'll make a stainless raiser I guess you'd call it to make them adjustable bars.
Tightfitted bungs tacked cut back for penitration and bars are done. Back to cleaning so can play bikes Monday... I'll respond all messages as well.
Salute
