I'm pretty sure it's a Schwinn but not sure what year or model.... This will be my first build. I'm so excited, can't wait to get started!

I'm not as familiar with Schwinn's as most guys here, but I'm pretty sure that is a middleweight Corvette, American, etc.

It's a Chicago made Schwinn, pre-1983. Middleweight as they mentioned earlier. The serial number should be on the left rear dropout, that may give you the year it was made. That will also let you know all the models that were middleweight bikes that year. The exact model can't be told without a name on the chain guard. The forks have a slight backward bend, but that's an easy fix.

The seat stem should be tapered at the top. I'll bet it's in there upside down.
