Started working in various bike shops in 1973 in my early 20s - got out in the late 1980s to actually make some money.
Pulled a 2 year stint as a Trek rep along the way. Retired now and back on the bench for three years in a one man shop in a small city. Not on the clock, no dress code and my shop dog is always with me.
Specialty is custom wheel work, internally geared hubs, and deep cleaning/correcting vintage bikes.
