NEW STRAND CRUISERS FB GROUP

Help Support Rat Rod Bikes Bicycle Forum:
All right, I've been checking out strandies for a few days now. I'm hooked! I never knew what these were called but when I lived in San Diego I used to see them all the time. I have an older Schwinn Heavy Duty frame laying around, not the ideal choice, but I think this might become my winter project.

It's about as narrowly focused as it can get.
Pretty sure that here in Texas we just called them Beach Cruisers. All of the magazine articles back in the 70's and 80's just referred to them as Cruisers.
Most of the folks who ride them are in California so I figured I'd name the group whatever the going name is.

@Wildcat ans @The Renaissance Man both those do take me to fb groups. But they’re not the one originally mentioned/linked in the first post.

Ah, thank you. It’s a different name in the first post, thus my confusion. It was also public the first time I clicked it, so being private now thew me off.
