(ORBO) Massif Build finished

    I started this build because my 8 year old was outgrowing his 20" BMX style Specialized. We had this bike for a while, but it was so heavy that he almost couldn't and surly didn't like to ride it.

    Now its setup for him, and 8 pounds lighter!

    Specialized Ground Control 20x4 tires
    Drilled and Paint Stripped rims
    Alloy front hub
    Widened Deore rear hub
    36 hole wheels laced with 24 spokes
    Batman rim tape

    Origin8 cranks
    Shimano Ultegra chainring
    Alloy chainring bolts

    8 Speed Shimano rapid fire shifter
    Deore XT rear derailer
    Custom 11-42 8 speed cassette
    9 speed chain

    Avid BB7 front brake
    Avid BB5 rear brake
    Magura Wave brake rotors

    Alloy Stem
    Alloy 3 speed style handlebar
    Thomson seat post
    Lockon grips with red lock rings

    Again, well done! Love the phat fatty. And the effect the rim holes give off is sweet!

    Very cool. Yup I'm all about MCM too. cherrydeuce on here has the same Heywood Wakefield wishbone kitchen table and chairs. The panel truck in my profile pic belongs to a hot rod artist friend, Tony Squindo. Look him up, he has some really crazy artwork.
