Great bike to start with! Love the natural patina! Watching you KJV...

Every part on this cycle:
Are Original to this frame.
With exception to: wheel\tire set.
Those are off a 40's model.
This cycle was complete,

When I got it 7 years ago;
The spokes where rotted.
I put these wheels on ,right away:
With, plans to replace originals,,

Then, took the fenders off,, 2 years later;
For the Bomber look.
Rode some,,,haven't touched
This cycle for , 4 years: until now.

plan is : bearing tune-up,
complete clean-up,,, Rat style.
Keeping ,a good Patina.

Fancy upholstery, KJV !
IDK how duck tape holds up, but I used gorilla tape on my cracked tractor seat and grandsons "tonka" bike and it's held for over a year...

Looks like you are recreating the very first klunker ever....tape upholstered saddle, wooden pedals, skip tooth drivetrain....maybe some solid tires with knobs for that off-road look?
