I decided to build a bike and some thing to haul the grandkids around and figured why not have fun with it. So I got the idea to give it a taxi theme yellow paint checkerboard the whole works. Starting point is the same as last year a mid to late 50's lady's rollfast.I also bought a 2 kid hauler at the flea market for the grandkids.
Will be doing a gender bend and a small stretch not exactly sure what I'm going to do with the hauler yet but have an idea in my head just not yet.
My starting point small tire just so it will stand up.

hopefully get some work done this weekend.

I've been kicking around a similar idea for my kids. My youngest is 6 months and I want him to ride along by the end of summer.
I'll enjoy watching your progress!

Great plan for your build, and you and the grand kids!
RaT oN~!

Was able to get some work done today between rain showers. Got the spacers cut out of a different frame and connected with the top part of the tail section fit inside of it perfectly.

You think I should do something like this?

index.php
I would put a piece of flat plate across the top following the chain stays and then hide an angle iron under it the full length that you were showing of putting it in between the stays. This should give you the needed strength and not ruin the looks.
