Started with this $58 retail Walmart bike and gave it some Christmas magic!

I really just wanted it for the frame and wheel set, and BTW, the cranks are the WORST UNSAFE design ever! EZ Build = EX Hurt

And then there was one...

I went with a traditional crank since under load this EZ crank tends to fold up. But makes it easy for novice parents to build a bike.... did a regular fork and headset too.

Yeesh. I never saw one of them before. Yeah, I'd go with a traditional one-piece crank too...

Holy cow, now I see what those pedals are supposed to do. That's a horrible design.

Kudos to you for taking the usable pieces and making something cool out of them.

Hmmm . . . you may be on to something; no dealing with rust, dents, chips, scratches, caked on grease and grime, frozen bolts, etc. Everything nice and clean! I'm gonna try it.
