Because I am so secure in my manhood, I was actually thinking of a pastel pink/cream/white bike. At 250 pounds with scraggle hair and the gotee I would be one heck of a spectacle riding through town on her. But what to name it?

It would have to have a plate that read:

"Laugh all you want, I married Barbie"

This pic of fast eddie has been haunting me ever since I saw it. I just felt that it was missing something. Here's my version, hope you like it Eddie.

Maybe we should add the rule that you can only change bikes once in the build off.

It might not be a bad idea. I know, for me anyways, that it's hard to keep up with who's building what. Then people start changing names and I get lost for a few minutes. Then they change bikes and here's Little Chainy scratching his head and wondering what just happened.

Everyone gets excited over the build offs, and they should! But they also need to get a basic idea of where they're going with the build before even starting it. They should also make sure the frame is acceptable for their direction of rattiness. However things do come up along the way that may change the direction of build and that's fine, but I would like to see their creativeness do the work and not a Frame change.

MY "2fer" project was chosen because, for me, it made a good challenge, I have no means of welding aluminum, it's got a frame that doesn't easily walk on the side of style and it's a two seater so alot of things have to be done for rider comfort of two people. In my mind this bike has changed at least twenty times, but the parts and fabricating that I have done are in a direction that I'll be happy with.

I think that a one time frame change is o.k. but only one. And as for the name changes please add A.K.A. My brain hurts enuff as it is!

You guys and gals are doing some fantastic stuff! So keep the wrenches wrenching, the grinders grinding and the paint .... just don't smell the fumes tooo often! :D

xddorox that pic is classic!!! i gotta print that out! im trying document everything on my build really well so i can make a cool wall hanging out of all the pics when its done, and this is definitaly gonna be part of that collage!! it'll look awesome on the wall of the "man cave."
its awesome that everyone is so cool on this site, do arguing or negativity or cussing matches. one of my "donor" bikes was given to me by my pastors husband at church and when the contest is done i plan to send a link to pastor karen, im not religous but i like goin to church with the boys. its a real small church where everyone knows us, and we're pretty involved in stuff there. i would not hesitate to send a preacher, babies mamas, my parents, kids teachers, whoever to this site! kudos guys,
fast eddie outty

xxodoroxx: Thats an instant Classic!!! :D :D :D
fast eddie: I agree about this place being clean and keeping it clean. I am by NO means an angel but I like the fact that my 11 and 12 year old daughters can look over my shoulder when Im here and not get freaked out by something obscene! Lets keep it that way!!!

Good to hear Eddie....BTW....Religion Destroys....true love and faith is the answer.

Can I get a witness?

And just to clarify...when I use the term "religion" I'm meaning grace-free
lifeless rituals as opposed to true spirituality involving belief, faith and a
deep relationship with the Lord.

Hmm...where's PastorRat when I need him?

Okay, now back to the bikes.

I dunno about the kids but you kinda scare me a little

That pic would be cool shrunk down to sticker size and plastered on the bike someplace.

Hello boys. I'm Fast Eddie's mom. Just wanted to let you know I've been following my son's documentation for the build off here and I couldn't be prouder of him and of the community you all have created here. You're giving a great gift to all those who are into motorless transport and building them.

There's not enough places in the world (or the world wide web) where people who have the same interests can just enjoy each other like this with no pressures or prejudices or porn. Keep on keepin on, boys. You're a great group.

And Xddorox, that's a supurb rendition of my son. I'm a photogrphic artist and I give it 2 thumbs up!!!! I just finished converting it to a 300dpi 8X10 and ordering the prints sent to to Fast. I printed them on matte rather than glossy to keep in line with the comix look. I only wish I could have afforded to have them output to a giclee printer so they could have that rag-paper-almost-watercolor-absorption-look. Almost like a real comix book.

Had to tell you--one of my friends was here yesterday and I showed it to her. She couldn't hide her surprise when she asked, "THAT'S your son?" And I couldn't hide my laughter or pride when I said, Yup."

I always thought that it would be cool if we could arrange a bike show, where everyone from the website could show their bikes and meet each other.

But that would never happen :(

Ya sure, pick were you live
