Schwinn Straight Bar, rebuilt on a budget.

Hi fellas,im back to post another classic bike...building this Schwinn Straight Bar for a friend,hope you like it. Enjoy

When i got it...

Striped and coated it with primer...dents,bends,warped and a lot more to fix...headache

and some bondo magic... :wink:

Added white base color...

Had to make my own stencils,arts and craft style... 8)

One side done,one more...

almost identical sides,pure luck

Nice work, the rack on that bike looks awesome. Looks like it was set up for heavy work with the beefy rack and rear stand.

nope,its a heavy duty steel rack made by the old folks to load and carry products to market...

What purple is this? I keep coming back looking at this!

to be honest i don't know...is a rattle can paint,i just picked a lighter shade of violet...

This is a bicycle basket holder, ill be re-using it as a bike plate holder...

The frame and fork together...

The rear fender,wheel and chain in place...

The front fender and rods mounted...

Handle bar and bicycle plate...

With the Saddle mounted it's a roller...will have to find a chainguard soon...here it is...
