Hi everyone. What is the best way to ship bike tires?
Flat? Big box shipping is getting expensive. I have alot of cool tires I am thinking about listing to generate some funds for a couple projects. But don't wanna loose too much either.
Thanks for your input!

It can vary a bit by carrier in my experience.
I've actually lost money one time putting up a set at a fixed price including shipping, because the buyer was cross country.

These days I tend to check usps, ups, and fedex before I ship em. I've had the best luck with ups. The size of the box plays a big roll in cost, so if its tires, I aim to get the box as 'skinny' as possible.

With new tires, you can fold them in a figure 8 and get them in a smaller box, but I wouldn't do that with older, or vintage tires.

Thanks for the video link Rusty Sprockets. And thank you again to the late Sheldon Brown ! :)
