Found this in a local store front window i'm definitely going back there monday to see if i can get them to part with it. although getting rid of all that pink paint looks like a PIA to me. might be worth it

any one care to take a stab at what this is?

I know it's a skip tooth.....

Dozens of old girls bikes available to paint pink and they choose a classic boys bike to do. :roll: At least they didn't put it out in the yard for "yard art" so the birds would have a place to perch. I think it would be worth the effort to restore that one. Go for it! Gary
 
any Ideas about the age or year that bike might be.?

Look at the brace on the rear seat stays where the fender attaches. I thought prewar had a straight brace. This is curved. I'm guessing later 40s.
 
I think I spy a postwar seatpost clamp, leaving 46-47 as likely.
 
She definitely wants a replacement bike. but She is still balking at the price, is $50 too much for this bike?
