Made the head tube from a tube from that same elliptical excerciser ... it was like .5mm too loose for the headset i had , so i made notch and pounded it in and welded back

Nothing happend

then after finding the right combo of crowns and top nut , i realized i needed a capped top nut ..my 25cents told me this could work

and since yesterday ,i guess i went full retard with the idea of putting a disk brake on my jack shaft , because mine is reversed the wheel only drive the sproket and not the hub , so all this work was useless iam so dumb , thats what happen having no plan and building on a deadline i guess

it was so beautifull ...
ill just run front rim brakes unless i find a other idea cause it dosent fit over the hub and cant really mount it on a 3prong cog hub

iam also brainstorming on how to do a dual way tentionner for the jackshaft since the bb and hub aren't ajustable

You attached the brake to the hub after you demonstrated the wheel is connected to the drive sprocket!?

few minutes after my last post i had a idea on how to do the jackshaft ajustability for 2 chains .

its gonna pivot up/down and also have regular dropouts , the combination of the 2 should allow me to tension both chains

I went full retard again
but this time its to make it work !
tried to mount the disk on the hub , but the hub is just too big to fit the screws , so i just welded it on its still straight and true
its only 6 tacks so nothing i cant change in the future if needed

never mind all the splater and flux grim

and made the caliper mount

next step should be the fork , it will be a springer , but wich type and how long i havent decided yet

honestly i didint know about that either untill i played with it in my hands trying to figgure what i was gonna do with it

Normally, a freewheel hub shell spins anytime a bicycle is rolling. The cog only works when pedaling. Connecting the crank to the shell 'flips' the operation. I was confused initially because I lost sight of the fact that the cog was linked to the wheel and that it continues to spin in a freewheel state when the hub shell is NOT in motion ( revelation). The build goes more unconventional by making the jackshaft adjustable in 2 axis to tension both chains. I've thought of ways of making a contraption involving a cam. I want to see how 1HP goes about it though.
The greater the adjustable range, the less need for a half-link chain when altering gear ratios with different sprocket sizes.
Placing the planetary hub outside the wheel also reduces stress on it. I collect left hand threaded hubs/cogs and can see future applications for this hub flip method.

basicaly:
-when on a normal bike you can freely pedal backwards , in this configuration replace the crank by my wheel and thats the freewheel ability.
-when on a normal bike you drive the cog to drive the hud/wheel , in this configuration i drive the hub to drive the cog ..same way of rotation so all the gears work normally

did not do the fork,

i did the down tube and head tube first

cut/welded the 2 smaller elliptical exerciser tubes togetter to form a nice rounded tube (that joint in the bottom)(forgot to take progress pics here)
tacked/ajusted/tacked/ajusted/weld

i then proceeded to cut the front half way between both tubes weld

hammered it a little

slowly grind the notches to perfect fitment of the head tube perfectly eyeballed inline with the rear wheel and welded
i took my time on that part and made nice strong spotwelds/tacks dimes

And Voila !
The overall shape of the frame , of course it had to be a chopper what i wheel like that
you can also kinda figgure how that jackshaft tentionner is gonna work ,pivoting form the ''seat tube''

Productive day today ,

i fixed a other error i did witch was assuming the hub sprocket would be decently inline for the crank
so i cut it off , cleaned , opened up a other cog and welded it at the right spot this time

i also modified the tentionner to the right ofset and width to fit the downtube

then started on the fork , idk what kind of springer is that, but its gonna pivot from the bottom , and hold by the spring pivot at the top .
i replaced one of the spring pivots by a tube with a nut welded in

then got some tubes i previously bent for a delayed project , welded them together to the spring support

pretty satisfied how this is turning out so far

the fork is coming along !

i started by leveling the underside on the top tree , removing the thickness of the plate i made for the spring mount

then welded the pre-drilled plates on there to make the mount

i bought this nylon/plastic tube a while back especially to make pivots , now is the time! fit 3/8''bolts half inch holes perfectly found in the plumbing island at hardware store

then proceeded to cut triangles out the bottom of the fork and hammer them to somewhat of a point , then welded

welded 1/4'' 20 extention nuts on the ends

and thats my pivots , bolts are from hardware store too , not sure of their true purpose but has a 3/8'' slick part and are perfect for this

hammered the ends of the spring rods flat

drilled , tap , and welded nuts on the exterior

boom! all pivots done and inline and the right width for the hub , just need to make the swigning plates/dropouts now
