Swapmeet scores...

Went to the Portland (Auto) Swap Meet last weekend. I was going to make an offer on a very crusty but complete prewar Shelby wishbone framed bike on the way out...but someone beat me to it (I thought it would be safe with the $350 tag on it...it was very crusty ).

This is what I did pickup that was bicycle related...

...the bars on the seat are going to be either very cool looking strandie bars...or very awkward ones.

More and more bike stuff showing up every year...but most of it priced fairly rediculously.

Great pick ups man!! Love a camelback!! I think those bars on the seat will look rad. They have a cbr long horn look to em. I dig all three of those bars!

The initial convo on the speedster went like this...

Me - how much for the Schwinn?
Him - $$… tennis balls included
Me - how much without the tennis balls
Him -

The bars... literally the first booth inside the gate...a buck a piece...he seemed shocked I wanted them, thanked me repeatedly .

Also picked up five issues of Cartoons magazine from '75/'76 .
