While I know you're just kidding, I still have to say I disagree because it's a bike, which isn't sealed in a box like some toy might be. As long as all that original packing is there, and you can place it back in the box... well... good to go.

But you were kidding, so that was all unnecessary.

I would keep it just like it is and put it in dry storage. There can't be that many out there still in the original packing.

I do have a nos in the box 2003 limited edition Swing Bike.. One of only 170 made..
