Maybe he has it insured and WANTS it to get stolen, if you look close the only thing the lock is around is the seat post and he even un-clamped the quick release for you!

Whats worse is the potential bike thief that this tricks. At least that lock is secured to the fence.

May be the lock was locked to the rack and just wanted the illusion of being locked...? :wink:
I used to leave my lock locked to the bike rack at school..!
