I've built a couple too that i used to ride to work (4miles) via some tunnels and trafficlights. Always cool to take someone over on of these babies.

Heheheh, thanks. It's just a standard twinny load with the addition of a 4' piece of wood strapped to the roofrack :-)

I can't believe I hadn't seen this thread until today!
Here are most of the tall bikes I've built.
The first tall bike I ever built. 20" springer front end, no welding.
Image
Another one w/ no welding. I called it a double bottom triple stack. Stolen 2 years ago on 4th of July. :x
Image
Here's one that I built for my neighbor at the time. A canti-quad or a double bottom triple stack. He still has it and rides it every once in a while.
Image
This one is very similar to the tilt up tallbikes that appear earlier in this thread. It is my new favorite design & I have built three of these to date. This one was stolen & recovered a while back, thanks to the help of Craigslist and a very good Samaritan!!
Image
My current daily rider.
Image
This one I built for a bike competition on here. It is a pixie tall bike and has training wheels that allow my 4 year old to ride it. Although we've only let him ride it once & we didn't let go of the sissy bar the entire time.
Image

I've built a couple others along the way, but they didn't hang around for long, because of one reason or another...
I LOVE TALLBIKES!!

This one looks like a simple enough build, but crazy as well, would be great for the Christmas parade. Trying to get together as many custom bikes as I can by then. I just wanna see you riding to know just how scared I should be.

Type "pennyfakething" in youtube. A fella out of the Chicago area named Johnny Payphone has made a bunch of these. He's got a couple of riding vids on there.

We were out riding last night and I was on the tall bike and "The-Rookie" RRB member asked me if I'd posted photos of the tall bike here yet, nope.

I just did paint yesterday and I kinda stole Carvingbike's paint fade. Here's my bike:

34 tooth chainring makes this a real easy peddler, helpful since there are hills I ride on around here. Just waiting for some cheap cruiser tires so I can dump the MTB tires. The frames are girls Roadmaster frames, bottom is a USA frame, top is a China one. Finally got my spooky tooth chain tensioner worked out, this bike rides like a dream. This is version 2.0, I rode the same bike in the Christmas parade last year, but it was about 11 inches shorter. I had no idea those bottle openers fit water bottle cage mounts with no alteration.

Its not stealing! All i did was rearrange the parts. just remember to fit the bike to your body size. I had to change this one four times to make it comfortable. This is the first bike I've ever riden that my hands don't go numb on it and it is quite fast.
